Questions? We have answers.

Can I use Medicare for my appointment?

Medicare rebates can be accessed for treatment sessions with our psychologists, clinical psychologists, and mental health social workers. To process a claim through Medicare you require a valid referral and mental health care plan. Medicare rebates vary depending on the psychologist qualifications.

Do you accept private health?

Yes, for sessions with our psychologists, clinical psychologists, and mental health social workers. If your private health fund covers extras for psychologists and mental health social workers. We recommend checking your rebate entitlement with your private health fund prior to booking your appointment. After your appointment, we can provide a receipt that you can use to claim back your rebate directly from your provider.

Do you offer telehealth appointments?

We have two dedicated telehealth psychologists who have expertise in adapting psychological treatment to the telehealth format. Ms Abbie Waters (Clinical Psychologist) and Dr Davi Macedo (Psychologist) both specialize in telehealth-delivered psychology appointments. Book a telehealth appointment here.

Do I need a referral?

No, you can book an appointment without a referral. However, if you’d like to access Medicare rebates, you’ll need a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP.

What if I need to reschedule?

We understand that life happens! If you need to reschedule, please provide at least 48 business hours (2 business days) notice to avoid cancellation fees. Late cancellation & non-attendance fees will apply.

How does a telehealth appointment work?

Most psychology treatment sessions can delivered via telehealth. If you have made a telehealth appointment you will receive confirmation email that includes the link to access the video call. Hold onto this email until your appointment as you will need that link. To commence the video call, all you need to do is click the link and enter the name on your booking. The video call is powered by Microsoft Teams, and is private and secure. Microsoft Teams telehealth complies with Australian Data Privacy Requirements and digital health standards. You can schedule a telehealth appointment here.
